Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. Champaign is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Champaign is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Food is good. Noise level on a busy Friday night was unbearable(seriously very loud) Hopefully they will improve their waitlist process. They would say 2 minutes and then we had to wait more than 25 mins to get a table. A few families left getting tired of waiting. There is no dedicated front desk person also the customers and the online pickup all had to wait in the same line. The Chai was not enough so make sure you say it if you prefer hot.

I ordered through uber eats, there was buy 1 get 1 offer for garlic nun, but i got only 1 and when i called the restaurant they said they know of no such offers, so basically i am lying. Also i ordered butter chicken, the chicken tasted old.

The owner is super friendly and the food is authentic and delicious! They joined the 2026 Champaign Vegan Chef Challenge with this Soya Masala and other options. They're one of the only Indian restaurants I've seen with a vegan meat option like that, which is greatly appreciated! This dish was very flavorful and fairly spicy at mild, so keep that mind mind. Just let the owner know you're ordering vegan and she'll take care of you! It's nice having authentic Indian cuisine near UIUC.

foods a little pricey, but you get a huge portion of rice and quite a lot of curry. my korma was very tasty, well seasoned with a nice portion of meat. naan is extra but you get a nice chunk of it for one order. the actual restaurant is cozy, with a more modern interior design. service was good too. would come again for a nice occasion.

5/12/2026 review: Down grading my previous revision ew from 3 star to two star: Issues: Plates are not cleaned properly!! Water glasses has lot of uncleaned marks Food not really tasty and rice is really heard! I felt curries not very fresh! It’s like all are prepared before! I do not recommend this place! This would be my last visit 9/28 my 2nd Visit with my family and tried vegetarian food. Samosa - it’s good and no special in it. Aloo Tikki Chat- This really good and very decent quality. Dhal Thadka with spice level 4- this is really good and I would love to order this anytime Jeerarice: Very fresh n hot Palak Panner with medium spice- Just below average n You can try with spicy Garlic Naan- Fresh n hot n tasty. Finally I am updating my rating from 1 star to 3 Star β€”β€”β€”β€” If you’re South Indian then Never order any biryanis or chili chicken. Still if your dare to try then go with spicy 3 or 4. More than that you feel chilli powder taste. My chilli chicken spoiled it seems prepared few days before n warmed and served.(good part is I paid full amount and manager/owner refunded the chicken dish amount ) One of my friend said it always safe to order any curry related items o
